My name is Barrett Thomasson, director of the Eastland Junior Session at Lake Cisco Christian Camp. I have been a part of the Eastland session of camp as either a camper, counselor, and director for the last years. Lake Cisco holds a special place in my heart because it played a very important role in helping form my faith and ultimately lead me to ministering young people.

At the Eastland Junior Session, ages 3rd-6th grades, we strive to help kids grow in faith and citizenship which will help them as they grow to adulthood. We use bible classes, singing, sports, arts and crafts, swimming, evening group activities and devotionals to achieve this goal. We want them to learn about Jesus, what He has done for them, and hopefully plant a seed that will grow into a stronger faith for their future.
It's important for kids to know there are others who believe in Jesus and are working toward a relationship with Him. In addition to the activities mentioned above, campers will be with kids their age who want to learn more about Christ as well. This will build friendships that will last a lifetime.

Lake Cisco Christian Camp is a very special place where special things can happen. We strive to show how God's word and His creation can influence people throughout the rest of their lives. We hope to see you at camp this year and look forward to another successful season!
